For students under the age of 13, the Primary School Achievement Test (Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah – UPSR) is the most important examination of their young lives. This national examination taken by Primary Six students before advancing to secondary school, is an assessment of the knowledge they have accumulated throughout their primary school education.
As a way to help students better prepare for the UPSR, the Yayasan Tenaga Nasional – YTN in collaboration with the Centre for Islamic Studies & Civilisation UNITEN, created the Program I-Success UPSR. This one-day programme aims to provide students with exposure, tips and techniques for answering questions, so they can navigate each subject with ease and confidence.
With an emphasis on core subjects such as Mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia, English and Science, we invite experienced teachers and educators to conduct short sessions on their respective fields. In addition to that, we also organise motivational programmes to boost the morale of students and help them mentally prepare for this challenge.
Through the I-Success UPSR programme, we hope that these students will receive the assistance they need to excel. Our goal is to educate youngsters on the importance of learning and education, and serve as a reminder that studying hard with the right techniques can be very rewarding in the long run.
