Nelson Mandela once said, "The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow." With that in mind, YTN in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE), created the TNB - Nurturing Future Leaders programme. The goal was simple - to attract bright, promising young students with the right leadership qualities, and mould them into the future leaders of our nation. On top of that, it also became another platform for us to identify potential YTN scholars.
The best lessons in life are learnt not through books or behind computer screens, but through life itself. That's why our programme sets out to provide students with real world exposure and experiences that extend beyond the classroom walls. Through a hands-on approach, participants will learn the skills, attitudes and knowledge they need to arrive at their full potential. Some of the activities that we have planned out include campus tours, office visits and even experience-sharing sessions that feature former YTN scholars who have also benefited from the programme in the past.
Aside from performing our corporate social responsibilities, our desire is to help build a country of future leaders, and to inspire more students to apply for the YTN scholarship programme, so they can start paving the road to achieving their dreams.
