Kem Remaja Bestari (KRB) is a yearly event organised by the Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (YTN) for the children of TNB staff members, LLN retirees, as well as a small group of orphans and underprivileged children. The programme is usually held in four zones across the country simultaneously to ease the participation of the attendees, which is usually divided into – Central (Selangor & Federal Territory), Northern (Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis), Southern (Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor) and Eastern (Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang).
Catering specially to Malaysian youths between the ages of 11 to 16, this programme is a chance for students to participate in group exercises, motivational talks and physical, educational, as well as spiritually enriching activities organised by motivational training consultants. Aside from gaining a wide range of exposure and leadership skills, these activities are also designed to instill moral integrity and promote strong character building among our youth.
At YTN, we look forward to producing a generation of future leaders that not only excel academically, but whom are also self-disciplined and hold a positive outlook on life. At Kem Remaja Bestari, we consistently emphasise the importance of time management, skill learning and personal responsibility among students. We hope that all attendees of this camp will walk away with a renewed sense of gratitude, and the right mindset and attitude to become a greater success in their chosen paths.
