Learning happens everywhere, not just within the classroom. With that philosophy, Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (YTN) introduced our Field Trip programme, where students can take part in multi-day educational excursions to enrich their minds with sights and stimulate their imaginations through various interactions felt throughout the days.
We aspire to provide a programme that provides students with real-world exposure and experiences that can’t be taught through books or within classrooms. Aimed at instilling the values of honesty, clear communication and strong community spirit among students, these excursions are also a time for YTN scholars and staff to bond, in the interest of cultivating better ties. On top of that, this programme is also a CSR programme that fully sponsors the students for their excursions so they gain worldly awareness.
Students should currently be a YTN scholar at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) or public universities, and be in their second year of sponsorship to participate in this programme. To apply, all you have to do is assemble your group of 15 students from various multi-racial backgrounds, have a plan for at least a 3-day 2-night excursion and approach us at YTN for further details.
