Nurturing Future Leaders
Nelson Mandela once said, "The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow." With that in mind, YTN in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE), created the TNB - Nurturing Future Leaders programme. The goal was simple - to attract bright, promising young students with the right leadership qualities, and mold them into the future leaders for the nation. On top of that, it also became another platform for us to identify potential YTN scholars.

This national examination taken by Primary Six students before advancing to secondary school, is an assessment of the knowledge they have accumulated throughout their primary school education.

Inspiring Better Brighter Future (IBBF) is an event organised by the Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (YTN) for the children of TNB staff members, subsidiaries and LLN retirees. The programme held in four zones across the country, which is usually divided into – Central (Selangor & Federal Territory), Northern (Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis), Southern (Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor) and Eastern (Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang).
